Courtyard’s LaCourette line offers you a selection of the finest quality varietal wines. LaCourette (“The Courtyard”) wines start with the finest grape varieties from premier vineyards right in our own growing area. The Lake Erie “terroir” is home to a wide array of varietal grapes grown on over 10,000 acres. This large growing area is second only to NAPA Valley in the USA.
Great wines begin with quality growers. Winemaker Randy Graham has been a vineyard owner and grower for over 28 years himself and sets a high standard. He selects from only the finest vines in the area, such as as the premier vines at Trolley Line Vineyards in North East, PA. Trolley Line Vineyards has farmed the land for four generations. Today, Trolley Line remains family owned and operated with over 200 acres of sustainably grown grapes from Concord and Niagara, to carefully selected French hybrid varieties and hand-tended Vinifera grapes. Owners Jack Russell with his wife Deborah Phillips, and son William Russell are committed to growing the best quality grapes in the land.
LaCourette’s varietal wines reflect this painstaking dedication to both the science of growing the highest quality grapes, and the loving art of winemaking. One taste and you are sure to agree.
